With their works made of images, lights and sounds they have contributed to revolutionize the exhibitions’ world in places of culture, from museum art to edutainment, from fashion to retail, thanks to a pop creative process that calibrates technological avant-gardes with an authentic knowledge of art history.
This is the work of Vincenzo Capalbo and Marilena Bertozzi, the souls of Art Media Studio, based in the historic center of Florence. They have received the attention of international critics: First Prize for Institutional Video Image in Milan, best screenplay at the Brixen Art Film Festival of Bressanone International Documentary Film Festival, up to the podium of prestigious competitions. Finalists at the Art Doc Festival of the Rome Film Festival and winners of the first prize of the Festival of Audiovisual International Multimedia Patrimony in the category "Creative Exhibition Installations", since the early 90s they create contents for pioneering video projects with a high level of creativity, and they emancipate the multimedia language with immersive scenography.
The result are works that some of the main museums of Italy, such as the Uffizi Gallery, the Accademia Gallery, the birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci, the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rome, the Scrovegni Chapel in Padua , welcome in their rooms to enhance their artistic heritage.
Many works by Art Media Studio have become part of permanent collections, revolutionizing the most traditional museum display codes.
